From the creators of the long-running Foodi Chocolate and Dessert Lovers Walking Tours, comes a brand new, limited-run adventure, in the hip heartland of the Highgate area.

Time: Saturday 11:30am
Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours
Meeting Point: Mt Lawley, Perth

Perth Food Society introduces Sweet Treats of Perth held in one of the smallest suburbs of the Highgate community. Places and dates are limited so don’t miss out!

The Highgate area is surely filled with some spectacular snacks and treats in our very own local hidden gems. These boutique establishments had lead us to a renaissance of food culture like no other. It’s fast becoming a hot spot for trendy and quirky experiences - new flavours and desserts.

You’ll soak up the historic and creative atmosphere of the neighbourhood, whilst stopping to indulge in some truly magnificent sweet treats.

Love trying new desserts? Extraordinary cake flavours, gelato or baked delights? We've got something for every sweet tooth on this tour. It's a progressive morning tea and discovery tour, you and your friends won't want to miss.

In a relaxed-paced morning tour there will be an opportunity to grab a coffee or a cool drink, to complement your sugar fix, and if you fancy, to take home that special Perth Society souvenir of your choice.

Some walking will be involved on the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it. Not recommended for persons under the age of 13, as it is a boutique desserts tour.

This event will run subject to demand, so reserve your space as not to miss out. You will not be able to take the event without a pre-paid ticket.

A ‘sweet’ walk through Mount Hawthorn with generous tastings at each place.

I think the idea of the tour was good and the places we went to were as mixture of well-known and more obscure venues. The little tasters at each place were great and the option of a cocktail at Measure was great - to help make a day of the tour. I liked finishing at Hyde Park, as I rarely get there and it is a beautiful place.

We enjoyed it, and learned of some great places to visit again.Sitting on the grass in the park was a great way to end the tour.
